Blizzard is back! And sooner than anyone expected or wanted it to be!
Again, due to unforeseen circumstances, it appears people who aren’t as have booked up the venue for the whole of October and November – so to make up for the lost shows we’re adding an extra show to September and December!
Our aim is to provide a comedy space that is safe for all, and as such we have a strict content policy on: No Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Classism, Ablism, Fatphobia etc. And we make every effort to content warn any potentially triggering material that may take place.
Afraid of audience interaction? At Blizzard there is no unsolicited or forced audience participation – if you agree to take part in audience participation, you may get a sticker at the door, otherwise, you can rest assured knowing that no one is going to pressure you into getting directly involved.
Our Headliner this time is the sassy and fabulous JOSH JONES!
Born and bred in Manchester, Josh Jones is fast becoming one of the best young acts on the circuit. In just three short years Josh has gone from an open spot to a regular at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country, including the prestigious Glee Club.
2019 has seen Josh nominated for the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, and he continues to wow audiences up and down the country. Josh was also named as one of Chortle’s Ones to Watch in 2019.

Sian Davies is a stand up comedian, MC, presenter and comedy writer based in the north west of England.
She won Hilarity Bites New Act competition in 2018 and was a finalist in Nando’s New Comedian and Harrogate Theatre Comedian of the Year 2017. She was a northern finalist of the Funny Women stage award 2018 and selected to take part in the prestigious Circuit Breakers showcase at the Leicester Comedy Festival.
Sian took two compilation shows to the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe which were both well recieved and an unprecedented success. Comedy Queers, a late night LGBTQIA+ showcase which sold out almost every night of the festival and Best in Class, a crowd funded profit sharing show featuring working class comedians which attracted huge media attention and earned several 4 star reviews.

Kat is like a typical white dad. Puns, bad dancing and doesn’t trust young straight men around her girls.
Thom is a Manchester-based comedian who began performing comedy in Berlin, Germany in 2015. Trained as a circus performer, and working on the UK circus festival circuit as a compere before transitioning to comedy, Thom has a wide-ranging, approachable and likable style. Thom is comfortable both as a stand up as well as a compere and strives to work as hard as possible to make his act perfect.
