Introducing your line-up for Blizzard #6 on Monday 9th September

Blizzard is back! And sooner than anyone expected or wanted it to be!

Again, due to unforeseen circumstances, it appears people who aren’t as have booked up the venue for the whole of October and November – so to make up for the lost shows we’re adding an extra show to September and December!

Our aim is to provide a comedy space that is safe for all, and as such we have a strict content policy on: No Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Classism, Ablism, Fatphobia etc. And we make every effort to content warn any potentially triggering material that may take place.

Afraid of audience interaction? At Blizzard there is no unsolicited or forced audience participation – if you agree to take part in audience participation, you may get a sticker at the door, otherwise, you can rest assured knowing that no one is going to pressure you into getting directly involved.

Our Headliner this time is the sassy and fabulous JOSH JONES!

Born and bred in Manchester, Josh Jones is fast becoming one of the best young acts on the circuit. In just three short years Josh has gone from an open spot to a regular at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country, including the prestigious Glee Club.

2019 has seen Josh nominated for the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, and he continues to wow audiences up and down the country. Josh was also named as one of Chortle’s Ones to Watch in 2019.

“Engaging personality, and a back-story that should keep him in routines for years to come” – Chortle

Supporting Josh we have:

“Plenty of laughs along the way as Ahad can time a gag, and has that glint in his eye that always makes for an edge of danger…As you might expect from a trained storyteller and decent playwright there is a smart twist in the tale that brings all the threads together…Powerful, pertinent and personal.” – North West End
