Join us for the debut episode of Blizzard Comedy’s Broadcast Avalanche, featuring Kath Marvelley and Edward Roworth

We have officially decided that we’re not going to wait for lockdown to be over to get back to our show. We had so much fun at our birthday livestreams that we’re launching a whole new online show on the last Monday of every month until we can get back to our stage.

Instead of our usual stand up, we are getting topical in our own Blizzard way. Each episode, two guest comedians will join our regular team captains to test their knowledge of the month’s news in a series of games put to them by our host and founder Jonny Collins.

Joining us for our pilot episode we have:

KATH MARVELLEY on Kurt’s team

New to the North West UK comedy scene this droll performer wins audiences over with her Australian theatrical flavour. She has a warm storytelling comedy style that leads the audience to unexpected laughs.
“Funny and delightful. Had the audience engrossed.” – Stand Up at The Studio

And

EDWARD ROWORTH on Thom’s team

The premier surreal, prop-based comedy act from his house, nay, home, it’s safe to say if he were King Arthur, he would have pulled the sword from the stone, because that’s what King Arthur did.

We will be streaming the show directly to our YouTube channel. Subscribe so you don’t miss out on any of the digital projects we’re planning on while we’re stuck in isolation.

As always, our show will be free to watch with a pay-what-you-feel option for contributions which will be split between our acts. If you would like to make a donation, you can PayPal us here: paypal.me/blizzardcomedy

Or you can make regular donations by backing us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/blizzardcomedy
