Our show in April 2020 will be our twelfth show and will mark exactly one year of Blizzard Comedy. We asked our Patrons which of the acts who have performed on our stage so far they would like to be back at our birthday. They unequivocally requested double act (No) Money in the Bank return to headline.
We are inviting you to join in the love fest and send us your finest writing for our (No) Money in the Bank fan fiction writing competition.
Every entry will be read by both the Blizzard team and (No) Money in the Bank and our collective favourite piece will be read (and potentially acted) out on the Blizzard stage at the April show.
Everyone who submits a story will receive an exclusive (No) Money in the Bank/Blizzard mashup badge. You don’t need to come to the show to qualify for the competition, although we will need your address to send you your badge if you’re not going to be there.
You can submit as many entries as you like, but we can only afford to offer one free badge per customer.
After the April show, every story will be compiled into an anthology that will be available for purchase at as low a price as we can manage. Every writer will be credited (unless you choose to submit anonymously).
Accompanying images are encouraged.
The stories can be about anything you want. We want to see you flex your creative side. Feel free to get weird with it. The only condition is that Andrew and Thom must feature in there somewhere. If you’re unfamiliar with them, you can check out their website, follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and read the interview we did with them about their 2019 Edinburgh fringe show. Or make something up. You have complete freedom to write them however you imagine.
Email your submissions to email@example.com by Monday 13th April for your chance to have your story read out at our birthday show.
We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
