Our Headliner for our first December Show is AARON SIMMONDS
Aaron Simmonds
was a BBC New Comedy Award finalist in 2017. He also won Jewish
Comedian Of The Year in the same year. His credits include BBC At The
Edinburgh Festivals (BBC Two), The Edinburgh Show (BBC Scotland), BBC
Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Unexpected Fluids podcast and Laura Whitmore’s
Sunday Session (BBC Radio 5 Live). He’s also been seen and heard on
BBC Three and BBC Radio 4 Extra, and has appeared in a BBC Quickie
with Brennan Reece and Rosie Jones.
Aaron has
cerebral palsy and is a professionally-trained personal trainer, as
well as a former international basketball player and world champion
powerlifter.

Tony started his
stand up career whilst studying at Leeds Met University back in 2008.
Originally from Hartlepool and now residing in Manchester Tony has
taken the circuit by storm. Described as an upbeat and playful
comic, Tony has been seen across the country at top comedy clubs as
well as performing at some of the UK’s major music festivals. With
a mischievous and positive style that will get any crowd to warm to
his charm.
Not content with
just performing Tony started running award nominated comedy nights
under the name Trapdoor Comedy Clubs. This allowed him to work with
some of the biggest names on the comedy circuit including the likes
of Chris Ramsey, Glenn Wool & Jon Richardson to name a few. His
comedy clubs also allowed him to establish himself as a very strong
an competent MC.
