Edy Hurst

The original bad boy of comedy never afraid to tell it how it is, nuanced, complicated and overwhelming.

Stick on some sunglasses, pop an umbrella in your drink, and lock your door, cause this Daddy’s brought his guitar, loop station and upwards of 10 jokes to put in front your eyes.

Kirstie Summers is the administrative force behind Manchester’s multi-award-nominated safe space stand up show, Blizzard Comedy. She is now a regular team captain on their monthly livestreamed panel show, Broadcast Avalanche, known for breaking character, straying wildly off topic and bursting into unhinged rants.

“Too attractive” – Chris

and

Laura Monmoth

Laura Monmoth, Award-winning comedian. Player of bad games. Occasional speedrunner. Quiz host. Nostalgia-fuelled idiot. Creator of the cursed. Also, puppets and a cat named Clive, is a Multimedia marvel. Mixing slide projections, animations and channelling the energy of comedy greats to deliver first class comedy on everything from retro gaming to gender issues. Expect references to 90s pop culture, karaoke, on, and probably puppets. Niche enough for Gen X’ers that remember their childhood, and accessible enough for those who just want to laugh.

David Stanier is a silly and nice stand-up comedian and comedy writer. Fun and daft, enthusiastic and unconventional, David always tries his best! In the past he’s been the Laughing Horse New Act Winner and BBC New Comedy Award Cardiff Heat winner, and has had shows such as David Stanier’s Silly Party, 2020 Online Comedy Special 2020 and ‘Just a Pinch!’.

“Stanier has a knowingness behind the daftness…lovely, feelgood stuff” – Chortle

“An ernestly giddy comic with an impressive arsenal of jokes. Stanier’s material is beautifully, banally silly” – Gigglebeats

“Stanier cuts an immediate contrast to most of his fellows… an intrinsically silly human being” – The Skinny

with guest captain Eddie French

Eddie French can’t write bios. They do comedy. There. That should do.

with host Jonny Collins

Jonny Collins is an aggressively inclusive Non-Binary comedian, Jonny pulls no punches yet makes everyone feel welcome and represented in their thought provoking, and well constructed deconstructions of gender, sexuality and politics. With radical leftist ideals and a fast and furious delivery style, Jonny Collins is a favourite of socialist, anarchists, feminists (of the trans inclusive variety), and queer activists alike.

“Jonny is a force of nature on stage. A whirlwind of hilarity with a unique viewpoint, they energy and passion personified.” – XS Malarkey

“Jonny Collins is deceptively rapid-fire, with a gag rate that would shame most one-line merchants. They can bring a simmer to a boil with ease, and make a huge mess of your kitchen.” – James Ross (Quantum Leopard)
